COF Announces The Newton House Partnership

Constructing Our Future (COF) entered a strategic and mission-aligned partnership with Broadway United Methodist Church (Broadway UMC) to establish The Newton House, a transitional and supportive housing initiative for women impacted by the justice system. This effort seeks to expand the number of women that COF currently serves as well as establish a permanent address located near Broadway UMC to combat housing instability, provide stable reentry services and support and continue offering pathway towards healing, restoration, and self-sufficiency for a vulnerable and underserved population in our community. Through this partnership, The Newton House will be a permanent site not only shelter but also wraparound services including case management, life skills training, family reunification, employment support, and spiritual care — rooted in dignity, empowerment, and the belief in second chances.
